About me
Hey y'all, and welcome to my page! My name is Megan Strickland, and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in the small southern town of Raeford, North Carolina. I'm currently a dental assistant, and a photographer in my free time. My life is very busy, because along with photography, I also enjoy being outdoors, hunting, fishing, drag racing, soccer, and anything that I can be crafty with. I am very family oriented, and very blessed to have such a close family. I live with my best friend and my world, Paul, who loves the same things I do. I am also a dog mom of three fur babies, Lexie, Wrangler. and Bailey. Lexie is my two year old Jack Russell, Wrangler is my one year old black Lab, and Bailey is the newest addition to my family-a few months old Chocolate lab.
Photography has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. I got my first camera when I was about 10 years old, and have always expressed myself with my creativity. With my very well rounded life style, I never want to miss a moment or memory on camera. I am looking to expand my photos and experience with photography. I am passionate about both dental and photography, which is why I'm trying to pursue both of my dreams. Having your heart pulling you in two different directions whenever it comes to your career can be difficult, but somehow I make it work!
I started this photography business in dedication of my grandmother, Margaret Harris. She always supported me in every thing I do, and loved my creativity. Growing up she would always tell me I needed to do photography. I love you Mimi, and I hope I am making you proud.
I would love to do any session, including families, portraits, pets, events, engagements, maternity, babies and childern, boudoir, etc. I am open to whatever interests you!
